The claim "we make the best safes and vaults in the world?might sound like just marketing hyperbole, but we at Brown Safe Manufacturing strive to prove that statement every day. As a family-run operation, we take the utmost pride in each and every safe and vault door we manufacture. Every safe we produce carries a 50-year warranty. This covers the entire safe, including the lock, bolts, etc. It is a true 50-year warranty. If you have a problem with your safe, we want to hear about it, and we will make it right?period.
Advertising MessageThe bottom line is: you trusted us when you purchased one of our safes, our family name is on the front of each safe, and our family has made a steadfast commitment to manufacture an incredible product. Brown Safe remains a privately owned family business with Mr. Brown, his daughter Lynel, and son Tim all sharing the highs and lows of running day to day operations. Family values and American pride are found in abundance at Brown.
We hand-make each safe in our 65,000sq/ft headquarters in Vista, California. When we say that it is made in the USA we mean exactly that. We start with sheets of steel, wood, and leather, and our craftsman weld, stitch and plane those materials into a genuine one-of-a-kind piece of art. Our most recent product is called "The Signature Safe.?It is an attempt to tell a story of a time past and the values of that older time ?a time when a person's word was his bond, and integrity was counted upon.
Mr. Brown himself is a story, he embodies the spirit of the rugged individual, and reminds us how men of his ilk built this country into the place that we enjoy today. "During my two terms in Vietnam, I became proficient in fortification. After the war, fortification became my obsession. I earned my engineering degree in 1976 and have been designing and building safes for civilian and military use ever since.?/p>Advertising Message
If you look around the safe-making industry these days you will be barraged with claims of security and quality that aren't worth the air it takes to speak them. The companies to whom people look to provide security routinely lie and mislead to make a quick buck. We refuse to bow to the pressures of the industry to build with substandard materials, and substandard practices.
We have a long history in this industry, and have worked hard to build trust and a reputation for quality with our customers. If you were to tour US embassies all over the world you would find Brown Safe Vault doors. The US Military also calls on us to create secure rooms for their armories and secure document storage facilities. Brown is military and US-government strong.
This is our history, and the Brown Signature Safe embodies it. We start each Signature Safe with the same materials and construction that we would use in any military installation. This means plate steel walls and doors, fully welded, flat ground and smoothed. If the unit will get fire protection then the entire safe undergoes our proprietary fire cladding process. The walls of the safe are encased within 2 ½ inches of poured composite material comprised of a high pressure concrete based mixture, and the door of the safe receives a 2-inch layer of the same.
Once a safe is welded and cladded, it receives its paint. The procedure for painting any of our luxury safes is the same as a high end automobile would receive. Brown safe has experts that were recruited from the auto body industry to ensure a flawless, mirror finish on each safe. The paint is polished and buffed to a shine that has to be seen to be believed. Once the exterior framework is complete, our experts go to work on the interior. With the Signature safe that means dark stitched leather and ultrasuede. We created the feel of an old world men's club where you would find hand crafted leather chairs and the scent of tobacco from humidors. The Signature is a simple classic with exquisite craftsmanship.
At the other end of the spectrum we have our ultra-modern Chronos line of safes. These safes will appeal to fake watch enthusiasts as they were purpose built to display and secure fine timepieces. The Chronos is available with automatic winders or static displays depending on the tastes and desires of the new owner.
The Chronos body and door are built from military grade ballistic steel capable of stopping repeated shots from a .50 caliber rifle. The locking bolts are made of 100% titanium. Yes, you heard right, titanium. The entire safe and interior drawers can be wrapped in carbon fibre, and drawers can be embellished with leather wrapped Damascus steel. It isn't just the materials that are modern. Brown Safe uses state-of-the-art 3D software modeling to create forms and parts which are shaped and cut by laser cutters and CNC machines. If you can imagine it, Brown Safe can build it.
Just like the Signature safe embodies Brown Safe values of integrity and tradition, the Chronos lets the world know that Brown Safe is very much setting the standard for modern safe design. You will be in good company if you own one of these security masterpieces as the client list of Brown Safe reads like the VIP list to the Presidential inauguration ball. Foreign dignitaries, movie stars, CEOs of fortune 500 companies, and rock stars all enjoy the same distinction as Brown Safe owners.
Your obsession with and collection of fine timepieces deserves to be displayed and protected by a safe that was produced by folks who are just as obsessed with the pursuit of excellence as you are. Years of collecting and searching can be lost in an instant with one break in. Why not cut would-be thieves off at the pass with a towering statue of security which will also be a stunning conversation piece. Trust us that you won't want to put this safe in the garage. You will want to show off this safe, of course, while retrieving one of your fine timepieces. brownsafe.com
